• Vision, the Drama Ministry of First Baptist Woodstock, will present “A Night of Carol Burnett,” a dessert theater, Sept. 12-13 at 7 p.m. in the church Chapel.  It will be an evening of fun and fellowship, with delicious desserts served during the intermission.  Tickets are $15, and may be obtained by calling the church at (770) 926.4428.

Classes/study groups

ï Hickory Flat United Methodist Church, 4056 East Cherokee Dr., Canton, offers a preparatory course for the GED test. Caregiving

ï Tender Hearts Caregivers  Group, a group specifically for caregivers, meets every second and fourth Wednesday of the month at Hillside United  Methodist Church, 4474 Towne Lake Parkway, Woodstock, from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The group discusses available resources and topics related to caregiving and shares strategies to cope  with the demands of caregiving.
